California’s schools, like other areas of the country have varying effectiveness. Many of the poorer communities have lesser graduates and the richer communities primarily utilize private schools. California’s collegiate system is considered one of the best in the country, with California State University employing more Nobel Prize winners than any other institution in the world. The system has 23 campuses to educate teachers, the trades, engineering, agriculture and industry.
